Building (Active)

  • Industry Automation System (work) — Decision support system automating ~80% of the process out of the box, reaching ~85-90% with custom rules and annotations. Learning complex industries fast, presenting messy real-world data clearly, delivering measurable improvements.
  • Co-Composer — A polyrhythm-first composition tool that makes complex rhythm construction visual, editable, and exportable. Emphasis on odd meters, layered patterns, and "one place to orchestrate" editing. Both a standalone tool for rhythmic composition and a companion for AI music workflows.
  • Suno Explorer — Chrome extension + PWA for managing Suno AI music libraries. Intelligent grouping, lineage tracking, analytics, encrypted cloud sync. 15k+ lines of vanilla JS, handling libraries of 27k+ songs.

Building (Passive)

Concept lab mode: progress, hold, return when timing is right.

  • Breadcrumb Exchange Network (BEN) — A system for semantic exploration of ideas and artifacts: clustering, connecting, and navigating "breadcrumbs" across projects, notes, concepts, and creative work. Core intent: make meaning navigable.
  • Civic Playbook — A tool for helping people analyze public records, recordings, and civic data with LLMs. The emphasis is accessibility: what's possible when people can actually interrogate and share what's already public.
  • Universal Lingo — Multi-language vocabulary learning with concept-based mastery tracking, AI-powered card generation, and absorption mode for passive multi-language exposure.
  • Alcove — Local-first library curator for ambient YouTube videos. Downloads, auto-tags, and organizes long-form ambience into collections for offline playback through Plex. No ads, no algorithms, no dopamine traps. Just 8-hour rainstorms and medieval tavern fireplaces on my own terms.

Deep Diving Into

  • Odd-time composition mechanics — How language and syllables affect rhythmic feel, why AI music generators drift into even time, how to constrain outputs so odd-meter ideas survive continuation.
  • Externalized memory + tangible cognition — Ideas become usable when they become tangible. Cards, structured formats, schemas, artifacts.
  • Semantic exploration — Turning creative and technical "crumbs" into something browseable, queryable, and meaning-dense.
  • Public artifacts & shipping loops — Making work referenceable so I don't have to re-explain it. Public work rips.

Playing

  • Guitar — Odd time signatures, polyrhythmic phrasing, prog metal sensibilities, and composing music of my own
  • AI Music — Releasing AI-assisted compositions as VAiRiOUS ARTiSTS
  • Games — Rust, Tarkov, DayZ. Drawn to deep systems and modification.

Life Context

  • Denver, CO — Altitude cooking optimization: Instant Pot ratios, air fryer workflows, engineering dinner.
  • 2026 vibe — Things are shaping up and releasing. Shift from concept-lab to shipping.

Friction Points

  • The last mile problem — Getting stuck in the final 5-10%: packaging, polishing, finishing, publishing.
  • Political insanity — Government incompetence and maliciousness. Hard to focus on building when the world's on fire.
  • Scope gravity — Concept lab mode creates open loops. Progress, hold, return when timing is right.
