What's a PWA?
A Progressive Web App is a website that can be installed on your device and used like a native app. It gets its own icon, opens in its own window, and often works offline. No app store download required — just your browser.
Chrome (Desktop)
- Visit the app — navigate to the app's URL in Chrome
- Look for the install icon — a small monitor-with-arrow icon appears in the right side of the address bar
- Click "Install" — confirm the prompt and the app opens in its own window with a taskbar/dock icon
Chrome (Android)
- Visit the app — navigate to the app's URL in Chrome
- Tap the menu — the three-dot menu in the top right corner
- Tap "Add to Home screen" — confirm the name and tap "Add." The app icon appears on your home screen
Safari (iOS / iPadOS)
- Visit the app — navigate to the app's URL in Safari (not Chrome — iOS requires Safari for PWA installs)
- Tap the share button — the square-with-arrow icon at the bottom of the screen
- Tap "Add to Home Screen" — scroll down in the share sheet if needed, confirm the name, and tap "Add"
Edge (Desktop)
- Visit the app — navigate to the app's URL in Edge
- Look for the install icon — a plus-in-a-box icon appears in the address bar
- Click "Install" — confirm the prompt and the app gets its own window and taskbar entry
